With over 20 years of experience as a massage therapist specializing in craniosacral therapy and lymphatic drainage modalities, Connect In Wellness came from the desire to offer a very unique and harmonious blend of modalities with an intuitive flow and guidance for what the body’s energy is asking for in the moment.
MY MASSAGE THERAPY JOURNEY
I feel so incredibly honoured to utilize physical care modalities combined with the ability to hold safe and sacred space and get the opportunity to witness someone return to themselves. To be reminded of the divine connection of physical, energetic and spiritual self in this human experience.
When I was young, I recognized early on that I had an ability to help people physically feel better by utilizing the modality of massage and energy. I also observed the emotional and energetic shift that followed for that person, and that was a really cool awareness to know I contributed to that transformation.
As I expanded my learning, the ability to help people heal from injury or different physical discomfort that they had been experiencing for a long time was fascinating to me.
After working as a massage therapist for the past 21 years, it has become incredibly clear to me that there is an equal harmony between the modalities utilized in a treatment and the safe and sacred space of the treatment room itself… in addition to the space that I as a practitioner hold for someone. I bring a wisdom and knowledge to a treatment that allows a really deep and powerful level of healing to occur.
What I really offer is an invitation: An invitation for an individual to sink deeply into themselves and let go of things that they may be carrying that are not in alignment with their highest good or their highest health any more. An invitation to welcome pieces of themselves that they have forgotten about. An invitation for Self to see Self.
I feel so honoured and absolutely love working with clients who utilize treatments as an opportunity to nourish, nurture and care for self and also have a willingness to let go of what no longer is in alignment with them, and to welcome in what is. Not any particular pace or speed, not any particular level of pressure or must do, simply a willingness to be moving forward in the direction of highest good with a connection and gratitude for self.
